abstract cube composition

Here I was just messing on photoshop. I took one of the cube photos and first used the posterize tool and then changed the hue setting. I messed around with the perspective tool and twisted the cube around. Then finallly used the clone tool. I will do further experiments, so stand by your beds because there may well be more to come.

& a close up of the guttering on the model

I tell you what this has been made really well, nice one guys!

Used a gentle light to create the shaddows here, give the photograph good contrast between light and dark tones. I feel this was the best image of the cube photo shoot.

check out this model

Brilliantly constructed and hand rendered by the masterful Simon and eddy. This cube has been made in a very precise and delicate way. The white emulsion gives the piece a sharp, crisp finish.

Moving Image Sequence

hmmmm I'm thinking flash and perhaps doing a video clip thingy mebob using still images. Hmmmm could maybe be quite interesting, using images of all our cubes ahh & perhaps some sound in the background, not much just something simple to accompliment it (maybe). I'm not that good at flash but you know i'll try and give it a go.

Realms of Artistic Creativity!

Once we have got all our diffferent cube models together, I think we will be able to do some real interesting compositions using each element and combining them. We could get some quality photos of Simon's and Eddy's 3d model using a photo booth and some delicate lighting effects. We could use these photographs and perhaps combine them with images of the virtual cubes in photoshop some how. We could add different elements of each cube together to make a new cube from all the cubes we have made. hmmmm we have many creative possibilities wouldn't you say folks. Add some comments, lets collaborate guys!
